When you have finished working on the front of the body, gently rouse your client and help them to turn over so that they are now lying face down.
Take your time, help your client to turn over as they may be drowsy,

Eighth Position - The Final Sweep
Stand at the middle of the bed with your feet about eighteen inches apart.
Lean to the left and place your left hand at the nape of the neck. Make a "V" shape with your index and middle fingers of your right hand and place these two fingers just under the palm of your left hand. Firmly sweep down the body with your right hand allowing the left hand to follow the path to about hip level. Perform this action three times. At the end of each sweep, flick your right hand down to the ground and never, never, outwards.

With these three strokes, you are lining up the Chakra points and clearing any negative energy. If you flick outwards, you are throwing the energy in an unidentified direction. Flicking downwards send the energy back to the core of the earth. When you have finished you may want to spiral your hands over the entire length of the body or you can use a smudge stick or incense.

Locking in the Treatment
Place your hands side by side on the middle of the back and visualise that you are now locking in Reiki Healing Energy. Step back and break the connection, or perform Kenyoku and gently rouse your client
